With Easter almost upon us I still have not been able to solve the PC
problem. I have installed a new Hard Drive this evening, also a floppy drive
which now responds, but when I tried to install Windows XP after formatting
the disk I am back to square one. My feeling is I have a faulty XP Disk. I
have an added problem that as soon as I turn everything off, turning on
takes almost a sledgehammer to get the monitor to come out of standby
(Hansol 920D), it very nearly went out the window earlier.

Trying again after cleaning the XP Disk and using the other CD R/W device.

I have fault hard over the last week to try keep my Worlwide Data upto date
I can not do this over Easter so there will be a gap until I have sorted
this out.

I've reached the age where I don't want to play anymore :-(
