Good afternoon everyone.

Temperature maxima are hovering around 9C in Athens today (3-9C in
continental areas, up to the balmy 16C levels in the far -lee side-
southwest of the country). Currently snowing lightly in low lying areas of
northern and central Greece (Thessaly, central and western Macedonia,
Thrace), as a new minor wave is starting to affect our weather.
Typical NE-flow weather in Athens with cloudy weather and sporadic snowfalls
over the surrounding hills and mountains -just some drizzle and light rain
during the past two days in the city. Greek weather friends could get some
snow flurries during tonight's get-together at the National Observatory of
Athens.
