BRACKNELL (TF)
0900 E F3 4500 -RA BR 2/SC 6/AC 8/AS T100D083
RMK: The Sc is high, circa 6000ft (perhaps higher); the Ac is just
below the As, which latter is remarkably thin, when considering that it
is raining quite steadily. The position of the sun can be determined
easily, and in places, you can even see faint COTRA through the AS!
[ OVERNIGHT DATA (18Z - 09Z):
screen min: 08.4 grass min: 07.4 precipitation: 0.7
other data: With last night's rainfall, we are up to 45% of eLTA for the
month as a whole. ]=
1200 ESE F2-3 10km -RA 1/SC 6/SC 8/AC T123D098
RMK: A short period of moderate rain 0930-10Z, otherwise light/steady
rainfall past 3 hours. Medium level cloud thick, but lowest main base
(6SC) well up at around 5000ft or higher.=
1500 E F3 20km - 1/CU 4/SC 8/AC T135D082
RMK: Rain ceased by 1300Z; Hard/paved surfaces drying rapidly.=

1800 ESE F2 20km - 2/SC 7/SC 8/AS T123D082
RMK: A further short burst of light rain ~16Z, otherwise quiet past 3
hr. The main Sc layer is almost complete cover - just enough breaks to
see the medium cloud.
[ DAYTIME DATA (09Z - 18Z):
screen max: 13.6 precipitation: 0.9
other data: Hard/paved surfaces dry. Soil damp, but drying. ]=
