Default Britain faces big chill as ocean current slows

In message , Graham Easterling
writes

"CLIMATE change researchers have detected the first signs of a slowdown in
the
Gulf Stream - the mighty ocean current that keeps Britain and Europe from
freezing. "

The areas of the north Atlantic most affected by the gulf stream are
actually considerably warmer than normal.

Yet strangely this map doesn't seem to correlate:

https://152.80.49.204/PUBLIC/

which is showing massive areas of colder than usual water which are
growing by the month. The Pacific is a particular large anomaly, but so
are areas of the Atlantic, mostly south, but not exclusively. One
wonders what is upwelling in these areas.

Cheers,

James
