Default East coast snow showers tracking SSW ?

I'll perhaps stay up a bit later then and see what happens ! Not looking
forward to the drive (or possibly walk) in to work in the morning will
not be pleasant I'm sure.

I don't have the Aviation Briefing Service (may subscribe later in the year
though).

I've noticed on the 5 min plots for Keith Harris's weather station that in
Southend they have had a 1C increase in temp up to -1.6C.

Somethings up thats for sure - not sure what yet though !

Let me know if you think something is going to happen !

Mark.

Temp has risen by 1C in under 5 minutes here with a wind gusting to 27mph
from the NNE.

Something for sure is happening and normally the wind gets wild before a
snowstorm. Just had a major blizzard of snow from the roofs.

However, the satellite (D2) had the clouds going the opposite way then the
radar.

If you have the Aviation Briefing Service from the Met, take a look at the
analysis - it shows a trough over Yorkshire area and a deepening polar low
in the North Sea.

Temp still rising, but what happens next is anyone's guess.
