Lol, anyway, take a look at the radar on the bbc website. Where the day
and
time is labelled near to the SE corner, in the channel hiding the very
relevant rain\echo information.
In the Summer when\if we get some Thunder storms moving up from France
(huh!
chance would be a fine thing!) this design will hide the radar echoes.
They could put this text up in the top right over Denmark, *obviously* .
They won't change it because eye candy is obviously important than
content\info.
Unbelievable... just unbelievable ;( .

If they just used digits, instead of those huge boxes it would help. I
don't know if it's my monitor (Phillips 170C on auto settings) but it's hard
to differentiate between the clouds and the rain in the combined sequence...
