For a start it would be more than 2 minutes long. Perhaps 5 minutes as a
generality but an in depth one spanning the globe similar to
"Weatherview" to be shown at a reasonable time.

Perhaps replacing some political slot around 7 or 8 pm. Ditch a few
nancies to make room for it.

Maybe one like it but not too similar at mid-dayish. Bugger the type of
stuff that required symbols like sunshine and rain icons or that cock-up
the BBC is foisting onto us. Personally, I can live without that but
would suffer it if it pleased the masses.

No waving at the pretty pictures and no going out on location.

And no standing in front of the damned map!

I want to see where the weather has come from and where it is likely to
go to. So that means a broader atlas, Canada and the Panama Ithsmus to
Norway and Germany France and Spain.

And if it takes ten minutes occasionally to cover all the possible
permutations then take the time from some spin doctor or show one or two
less adverts. It should take precedence over any greasy, lying, son of a
bitch politician's slot anyway. Show it before the news and save me
wading through all that meaningless tripe.

In fact the perfect weather forecast would replace all that side of a
news bulletin. It would be perfect if it did that -even if the forecast
was as wildly inaccurate as it is possible to be.
