Generally it started cold, dry and dull; then it went cold, dry and sunny,
and now it has gone warm, dry and dull.

1st - 20th mean temp = 11.1C, max 20.8C (15th), min 0.5C.

Compared to May 2004 it has been very chilly indeed.
