I wouldn't use the word "miserable". It's been sunny at times here, and
dry pretty much throughout. The only disappointing aspect has been the
lack of warmth, in spite of the sunshine- this was the reason behind my
"Who's reached 21C" thread.
"Miserable" to me means days on end of low, grey overcast, steady but
not torrential rain and temps too warm for snow but too cool for
shirtsleeves. Last October here was an excellent example of a
"miserable" month.
