Well you never know, I guess there's still scope for a cold end to the
month...

Incidentally the sort of weather pattern where a southerly is replaced
by a northerly behind a front moving west to east, and the attendant
huge change in conditions, never seems to happen in northwest Europe
though in some areas like the eastern USA you often hear of such things
happening (and the other way round too).
