I'll go along with all that. Not as bad on radio as many people
think, considering the time constraints. All he needs to do now is to
talk naturally and stop trying to sound "posh" because there are always
a number of giveaways to anyone with an ear.
I think he might talk like that because it probably went down a storm
(pun intended) when he was a US TV weatherman - you know how the
Americans like a posh English accent.
He sounds good on radio and he is not immune from the odd cock-up, as
he said 50 Celsius in tonight's 1757 forecast.
