A drain with a mind of it's own :-)
I can remember being in the Halkidiki area in May many years ago, 1975
ish? We also had an earth tremor when we were there, the weather was also
a bit unsettledm, although isn't this fairly common for Greece in May?
Indeed, Keith. May is known as the first month that's able to give hot
weather but also infamous for its instability, especially over continental
areas. From this month onwards, most -if not all- rain falls in the form of
showers and thunderstorms, sometimes quite heavy indeed. Drizzle and long
lasting moderate rainfalls are not frequent at all.
