BRACKNELL (TF)
Martin, I'm curious - what does the (TF) in your header stand for?
... Tawfield - there are other people occasionally reporting within
Bracknell; I started out writing the full name, but to prevent Tudor's
blood pressure from rising too high, quickly decided to abbreviate it
;-)
I lived in Cottesmore opposite the Mormon Church, couldn't afford the dizzy
heights of the private houses on Great Hollands after the first house price
boom
in 1971.
Knew lots of Met Office people who lived in that area, though.
Had some great parties in Great Hollands in the 70s Martin.
(No not the wife swapping ones that were alleged to happen, I wasn't married
then :-) ).
Once married I moved to Binfield and then Crowthorne.
I have fond memories of the Bracknell area.
Thoughtful cheers,
Will.
