BRACKNELL (TF)
0900 SSW F2-3 40km - 3/CI COTRA T258D111
RMK: considering the length of this hot spell (this will be the 7th
straight day with maxima =25.0ºC), the visibility is remarkably good;
sky, where not covered with Cirrus (largely ex-COTRA), is still
pleasantly 'blue'.
[ OVERNIGHT DATA (18Z - 09Z):
screen min: 14.2 grass min: 11.8 precipitation: NIL
other data: grass now turning 'straw-like', similar to 1976, though in
that year, it tended to go to this state in the local area during
July/early August, rather than late June. With the extended hot spell,
we have turned the all-month temperature anomaly from solidly negative
(down to -1.2degC at one point), to solidly positive (currently
+1.2degC)]=

1500 SSW F2-3 45km - 1/ACCAST 7/CI T295D139
RMK: becoming quite oppressive now with the dew point steadily rising,
the wind often F2 or less, near-overcast dense Cirrus (highly
sheared/tufted) and of course the high temperature. The Altocumulus
Castellatus has developed to the west and SW over the past hour - no
great depth as yet.=

1800 SSW F2 40km - 1/AC 6/CI COTRA T281D125
RMK: Ac floccus - medium level cloud generally *less* developed than
15Z; another layer of Cirrus, with main Cirrus COTRA-contaminated, and
not as dense/extensive as 3 hours ago. Overall, cloud has become less
developed (i.e. ww code=01).
[ DAYTIME DATA (09Z - 18Z):
screen max: 30.3 precipitation: NIL ]=
