Default [WR] Cheltenham - High temperature, low humidity

Hi Will

Your bit of altitude makes all the difference.

It's still 22.5C outside even though it is now 22:30. Trouble is, there is
no wind to blow a bit of cooler outside air through the house, though it has
dropped inside (downstairs) to 29.8C. It feels much warmer upstairs!

I've noticed there are a few towering cumulus clouds around in the twilight
sky. I suspect a storm or two is brewing not too far away.

Currently at 22:40, 22.5C, RH 60%, DP 14.0C, 1016.4 (F), Wind calm.

Meanwhile high up on Dartmoor not too far from you Nick I have 18.8 deg C
RH 73%
and DP 14 deg C
Day max 25.0 deg C (which is high for up here).

Inside temperature 22.2 deg C but with the windows wide open and a 6 knot
wind
that will cool nicely tonight.

I don't expect to sleep much tonight either, due to excited anticipation
of a
bit of thunder :-)

ATB,

Will.

Hi Paul

Count yourself lucky with having such low humidity.

It reached 29.4C and the humidity and dewpoints have been rising all day.
The highest DP was at 16:00 with 16.5C.

It is now a warm and sultry evening. Indoor temps over 30C, and that is
with
all the windows and doors open. I suspect it will be difficult to sleep
tonight.

Currently @ 20:00, 26.4C, RH 54%, DP 16.2C, 1015.7 mb (F), Wind calm.

It reached 29.7C today, but in mid-afternoon the dewpoint was way down
at 7C - making the heat far more bearable than last Sunday.
