you're describing.
Alan, yes that was correct for the time I looked. The rate has been up and
down
like a bride's nightie. One minute 15 mm/h the next less than 1mm/h. At no
stage
would I have described the rainfall as torrential, just very heavy which is
why
we only got just over 30mm. The storm was notable for the fantastic lightning
and loud booming thunder and of course the shelf cloud with rotation.
Highest instantaneous rainfall rate from my Davis AWS was 92.7 mm/h at 0500
local.
