Anything like WorldWind?

I wasn't able to operate that to much use.

Not used WorldWind myself, so I can't comment.... Google earth runs fairly
quickly on my oldish desktop and, although the higher resolution images are
quite sparse, it's quite good to tilt the camera and swoop across the
Himalayas!
