Default rainfall shortage - continued!

The first 10 days of July have produced 7.1mm of rain here (presuming
there will be none today) which is 31% of the 1971 - 2000 average for
this period.
The year's total now stands at 192mm which is 61% of the average
and since the beginning of May only 42.6 mm has been measured - this
is 37% of normal.
Looking at the charts for this week doesn't give me much hope that
the dry weather will end soon.

.... Here in Bracknell, the monthly total (so far) is 8.7mm [19% of eLTA
1971-2000]. As you say, everything looking dry, both on the ground and
from the forecast charts.
