We travelled down yesterday, broke out of the SC at Heathrow at around
3000ft at lunch, then really saw nothing of interest until Madrid where some
TCU was present. Temp +32 on landing.
Travelling down to Valencia, some CBs and Showers but no Thunder or
lightning seen. Then approaching Valencia, over the hills some pretty
persistent wet weather with the temp down to 18c.
On further south, the weather dried out and while it stayed cloudy, temps
went back to 26c
Today has been wet this morning, one brief sunny session for an hour this
afternoon, but the showers have moved in again!
The double irony is that it is fine back home, and this is in the middle of
a serious water shortage in Spain!
