They are listening - I've seen plenty more synoptic charts of late and
wind speed arrows have made a return.

One problem I noticed last week when I was watching the world forecasts
on BBC World - if there's a *lot* of rain (as there was when showing the
monsoons over India and Bangladesh), the animation really starts the chug!
