Rain 19.2mm 18.9mm from
showers late afternoon and early evening. Most in 60 mins 10.2mm
(1645h) in
15 mins 6.8mm (1730h). Showers appeared to be heavier towards Windsor
where
locallsed flooding occurred around Chavey Down / Cranbourne.
.... shows the difference nicely north-to-south (and over a small
distance), as down here on the SW edge of town, we only had 5.0mm
yesterday (09-18Z), the bulk of which was from the shower 1630-1645Z
(5.30-5.45pm clock); yesterday evening, we had another 4.2mm, making the
24hr total (to 09Z this/Sunday morning) 9.2mm. It was quite noticeable
from here that large CU/CB were popping up all around, but to a large
extent giving us a miss.
Martin.
