According to the website of the VWK
http://www.vwkweb.nl/ - the Dutch
amateur observers' organisation - the max. temp. of 18.0°C at Eindhoven
today is the highest max. temp. ever recorded in the Netherlands in the
first 10 days of February.
Previous highest for that period was 17.6°C at Epen on 9 February 1989.
Highest max. temp. for February as a whole was 20.4°C at Oost-Maarland in
South Limburg on 24 February 1990.
Other high max. temps today in the Netherlands - Maastricht 16.7°C,
Valkenburg (near Leiden) 17.0°C, Arcen (South Limburg) 17.2°C, Ell (South
Limburg) 17.4°C, Gilze-Rijen (near the Belgian border) 17.6°C.
