Virtually unbroken strong sunshine and an offshore NE breeze pushed the
temperature up to 25.8 in Penzance today, the warmest day since 14th July.
The only cloud being a few patches of dense cirrus and some altocumulus
early, but this had cleared southwards by 10:00, and some cumulus along the
Lizard peninsula for a while this afternoon.
