Warmest day of the month (so far)
Virtually unbroken strong sunshine and an offshore NE breeze pushed the
temperature up to 25.8 in Penzance today, the warmest day since 14th
July.
Yes, amazingly reached 26.2 in our sheltered little valley this
afternoon. That's my third hottest August day I've recorded in the last
ten years. I don't thint the forecasters saw that coming.
