The AC/DC adaper that feeds my Solwise adsl modem has a bad wiring

household socket. It has be fixed on 9v 1100mA. Looking at Maplins I can
only find 9v 400mA, 300mA, not being to up on this what's the difference
and would a 400mA one be ok?

Keith, you will need something rated to supply at least 1100mA, like
