Default BBC forecast still going for changeable weekend

Despite the charts now showing a ridge over the country the BBC

Simply,I think, that another front will cross over at some stage. I
suspect anything that is not absolutely settled over large parts of
the country is described as changeable.
Got woken up by the rain which I had rather given up on with a
somewhat empty radar late last night. And a friend in Aldershot got
thunder at 0500 - none heard in West Dorset.
I do not think the ridge is a very strong one and so the depressions
north of Scotland trail a bit our way. So it will be warm but not
hot..
