Looks like there might be something not quite right with your RH sensor,
Alan. A temperature of 22.2 with a RH of 82% gives a dew-point of about
19C which is way too high. The airmass dew-point looks to be around
14-15C. I've thought for a while that your RH values looked on the high
side.
Could this be a local effect? The grass is still damp with morning dew
and we are close to the shore.
Seems a bit unlikely. The 1200z observation from Bishopton gives a
dew-point of 15.2C. The latest I have from Greenock MRSC (0900z) had a
dew-point of 14.2C. I would expect your dew-point to be in the same
ball-park as those.
A temperature of 22.2C with a dew-point of 15.0C gives a RH of 64%.
Norman.
