Sensational!!!
Currently 27.5ºC here with a lovely gentle breeze.
Old site record well and truely smashed.
The second warmest day of the year after July 11th (28.9ºC)
Quite simply the finest September day in my lifetime.
Back to the garden...
Alex.

It has been like that here on the north Irish coast. I measured the
temperature with a whirling psychrometer late afternoon and recorded over
27C. I think it will be the warmest day of the summer here.

Much middle level stuff now moving over from the south - looks quite
unstable up there.

Malin Head, a few miles to my north east, recorded a temperature of 23.4C
which compares with an absolute September maximum of 23.2C in the 1961-1990
period.
