.... I'm *not* sure if this is still the correct answer, but when this
question came up many years ago (in another 'active' year), the answer
posted by someone at the NHC in Miami was that the 'phonetic' alphabet
would be used ... thus Alpha, Bravo, Charlie etc. No doubt we'll find
out in the fullness of time!
