14mm overnight according to automatic reading which is a little protected
from the East wind, cool 11.9c aswell and still raining
I see the fell forecast for today as temp of 7c at 3000ft - wouldn't be
pleasant today on the tops of the Pennines

Hi, All,
It looks as if we are in for a cool, wet spell here. Already 22mm since
midnight and much more to come on a wet north-easterly. The set-up is a
classic for the sudden onset of autumn that can happen here as the wind
comes in off the North Sea. As long as it keeps away from London - we
don't
need the rain to beat them these days.
