A really dismal day - such a contrast to the last few days. No really
heavy
rain, but not a dry spell throughout with the rain and drizzle not
managing
to stop completely at any time. Temp has fallen to around 11C now - a
contrast to the 20 - 22C of recent days.

Hi, John,
It's that NE'ly again!
High 11C here, down to 8C now at 18Z. 17mm rain since 04Z
As you say, a contrast to the past few days. Looking brighter for the
weekend but cool - I don't mind the cold if it's sunny.
I'm looking for a following westerly and noon temp around 16C on Sunday for
the Great North Run, but not the 50mph we had on Wednesday!
Best wishes,
