Default September 2005 in Canterbury

The drought here continues with yet another month with significantly
below average rainfall. I total of 26.7mm of rainfall was just 40%* of
the eLTA. 11 out of the last 13 months have seen below average rainfall
now. The only really wet day was the 15th with a total of 10.7mm.
September was characterised by plenty of warm weather with 18 days of
the month in excess of 20C. The mean temperature was 16.0C.
