Yup, I got it wrong. So I'd say, with about 7 weeks of the season left
(30th November), that we could easily get to the end of the list.

And from the website of the NHC:

In the event that more than 21 named tropical cyclones occur in the Atlantic
basin in a season, additional storms will take names from the Greek
alphabet: Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, and so on.
