Default [WR] S.Essex, windy and hot

Well I think 17.9C at 11.00pm in a very strong wind on October 10th
constitutes hot! Very reminiscent of a late night barbecue in Sydney when
the wind turned and blew from inland. Just add 10 deg C. Also not unlike
the
night of the Oct 87 "hurricane". It seems to be pretty much a straight
southerly.
Whilst I've seen this before in Autumn/Winter I'm not sure that the skies
were as clear and completely cloudless as now.
Dave, S.Essex.

Dave have you been following the GFS? It was showing a nice easterly for
Saturday at 12Z, ok not cold but it would have manifested much cooler nights
and was in the right direction and then the 18Z came along. You've got to
laugh,
"fools gold" comes to mind.
