Default Autumn is here

Good evening, everyone.

Temperatures have dropped in Greece, too, in what is said to be the
smoothest transition from summer to winter in many years. Down to -1.6C in
Valia Calda, western Macedonia, this morning and widespread ground frost:

Oak trees ready to bid farewell to their leaves:

A "mini" cold advection is on its way these days and temperatures are
expected to plummet down to -4C in protected valleys and plains of Macedonia
and Thrace. Snow, if any, should be very little and only on mountainous
areas of eastern continental Greece and, maybe, on the highest summits of
the cretan mountain ranges.
