On things with lots of legs has anybody else noticed the great daddy -

Wasn't there something in the news a couple of weeks ago about a
racecourse that had to abandon a meeting because the ground was
dangerous. Apparently there were so many crane fly (aka daddy long
legs) larvae under just under the surface of the grass that it was
becoming unstable.

Can't say I've seem many this year though, probably all gone on their
holidays - with the wasps.
