I'm a paltry 55 and certainly still learning, but I do remember snow
showers around 1970-71 on October 6th,(Andover. Hants)remember the date
but not the exact year, I think that's called a senior moment.(must dig
out my old records from the attic)
Incidentally regarding this so called freezing winter, temperature this
morning at 0630 was a freezing 15.7C !!!
