Spent all day in blackpool yesterday. Got there at 10.30am and the rain

was
unbelievably heavy! carried on for about half an hour and then suddenly
clear skies! Really mild as well. Im sure BBC forecasted heavy rain for

ALL
the day and evening! Oh well who do you trust

Trust in the Lord! ... and thank him too, since it was He who sent you

that
good weather, not the BBC :-(

Cheers, Alastair.

he didnt save me when i was conned out of £20!! Bloody crafty buggers!

I appreciate getting conned out of £2 on every bag of Blackpool Fish
and Chips. The art that enables an almost invisible piece of fish to be
encased in an enormous and utterly nebulous outer-casing is Michael
Angelo-esque!

Having said that, the tram ride to Fleetwood on the only surviving
pre-1930's tram line in Britain, the Illuminations and the "Big One"
truly *are* worth the effort.
