Well the weather here has got really exciting now.

At 2310 and since 1830 we have had 33.8 mm of rain and the stuff is still coming
down at 5-6 mm/h rate.
Wind has picked up with gales in exposed areas. Peak gust here at 3m agl only 25
knots though due to some shelter.

Driving back from Torquay this evening the roads were awash with local flooding
(bow waves again :-))
Ahoy there me hearties. But things got hairy coming up from Liverton climbing
through a wooded area going up to Ilsington at 2250 the whole of the road was
carpeted in several centimetress of leaves, twigs, branches and the rain was
heaving down it was very very difficult to keep the car going straight as it was
sliding all over the place on the twigs and I nearly came off the road. Lane
outside our house has once again been a river and I dread to think what the moor
must be like now.

I love it really!

COME ON :-)

Total rainfall so far this month 37.6 mm grin

Will.
