Default What rain ?

It's going to be an interesting test. Can people still forecast without radar ?
I think the network of official and independent observations is going to come
into its own today.
I notice my site is receiving an unusually large amount of hits ATM. Thank
goodness I put those new batteries in :-)

Still light "horizontal drizzle" here. Rate not recording on AWS though.

Will.

Yesterday there was all this fuss about heavy rain and warnings for the
SW, yet looking at the radar there doesn't seem to be much showing up at
all.

I think it is a Met Office experiment. It's called stealth rain and
falls in such a way as to be invisible to radar. :-)

I have had 11mm in the last 4 hours or so and my WS currently shows 5mm
per hour. On a visual check, this sounds about right.
