Quite clearly weather presenters are allotted *far* to much time in
their slots to talk about the weather, so they have to fill in the
time talking about other stuff instead.

I also noted that she said that winds would be damaging in urban areas in
Scotland so take care if you're outside. I thought the normal policy in
these sort of situations would be a "stay indoors"!
