Default That's Better

Penzance is likely to get on Friday. Just bleak & horrible
What's so great about that?

I agree!

It has been chilly by night with frosts (0.0 ~ -1.5C) here because of
being at the bottom of the valley, but the days have been glorious,
especially down on the beach with warm sunshine and temperatures around 10
~ 12C, in the sun with no wind you can sit happily with just a T-shirt and
jeans.

The thought of it turning even colder - yuk! Bring on the spring, I've had
enough of this chill already.

Nick,

I've been a bit surprised how high the daytime tempratures have got over the
last few days, considering the wind's been from the east. That warm pool of
water in the Channel must be playing it's part. (It's times like this when I
bet you're glad you moved down!)

It's 12 degrees here now, at that's a degree lower than the sea front, it
was 13 at Penzance Heliport at 10:50 - www.xcweather.co.uk/. So should get
14 today, and the east wind's virtually disappeared.
