Quite a few soft hail showers coming in from the Irish sea over the last
couple of hours and according to the radar they are moving inland through
the Cheshire gap.
Current temperature 3.5°C

Hi Alan,

I was looking at the rada just now and saw the showers and was
wondering whether you were seeing anything. Too warm for snow
yet I guess for you but I would imagine it won't be far inland that
they would turn to snow.
Certainly up to now the forecast appears to have been spot on, the
precipitation are just clipping the Liverpool area, into Cheshire and
down towards Birmingham.

As far as I can tell, it's cloudless here, temp hovering around
freezing and still quite windy.
