Default [WR] Wirral 2030 GMT 24th November Hail showers

Hi Alan,

I was looking at the rada just now and saw the showers and was
wondering whether you were seeing anything. Too warm for snow
yet I guess for you but I would imagine it won't be far inland that
they would turn to snow.
Certainly up to now the forecast appears to have been spot on, the
precipitation are just clipping the Liverpool area, into Cheshire and
down towards Birmingham.

As far as I can tell, it's cloudless here, temp hovering around
freezing and still quite windy.

Hi Col,
showers mostly just soft hail here and looking at the radar they have seemed
to have moved off to the west over North Wales, where conditions will get
interesting over the next couple of hours.
Still a lot of cloud around though and temperatures slowly falling so I do
not rule out a snow/sleet shower later on.
Current temperature is 3.0°C together with a strong NNW wind,
best regards,
Alan
