Well last nights rain soon stopped but temperature remained above freezing, and
I still don't know why, possibly the wind stirring the slightly warmer air up a
bit and the rain from a micro warm front. Thanks for all your suggestions
though!

A beautiful snowy morning. A slow thaw expected today in the sun, but it will
take some shifting, especially on the moors. Watch the snow disappear on my
