Two or three years ago I used to be able to get at that information from
http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/oa/climate/climatedata.html . At some point it
stopped being accessible because of the WMO Resolution 40 problem.
Strange
that it still works via some ISPs and not others if that is so.
