BRACKNELL (TAWFIELD)
0715 W F1 0300 FG VV/// T003D-003
RMK: Everything 'dripping' wet from fog.=
0800 NNE F1 0300 FG 8/ST T002D-003
RMK: St~000/001: I think there is a distinction between the St and the
fog, but not easy to be sure. The wind 'puffs-up' to an occasional F2,
which may explain why the vis. is holding etc.=
0900 E F2 0600 0200SW FG 2/ST 7/SC //CI T006D-002
RMK: wind picked up past 30 mins, ocnl F3; The St~003 and dispersing
rapidly; Sc very thin/high~045/050, and allowing sight of cirrus and
positioning of solar disk.
[ OVERNIGHT DATA (18Z - 09Z):
screen min: 00.1 grass min: -01.6 precipitation: 0.1 [24hr total: 00.1
mm]
other data: 'precipitation' recorded a combination of heavy dewfall
yesterday evening and a period of dense/'wet' fog overnight. ]=
1200 ESE F1-2 1500 BR 3/ST 6/CI T024D016
RMK: Visibility 1000m or more around 1045Z: I suspect (though can't
verify) that the Stratus (~004) is shredding off the tops of adjacent
fog that I can't see from here to the south. Very watery sunshine - no
strength to it at all.=
