Default [WR] Bracknell (Tawfield) - effects of Hemel explosion

... the 'cloud' ex- explosion at Hemel can now (0800Z) be seen from here
to the north/north-northeast, spreading slowly westwards - dark at it's
leading edge; I can just about make out the column rising from the 'base'
of the explosion.

Whether what I am seeing is pure combustion products, or condensation onto
those products I'm not sure - any ideas?

Martin.

I live about 4 miles from the site and the explosion woke us up at just gone
six as must have happened to anyone unless they were deaf although the
vibrations were noticeable. However I could not see the source on looking
out of the window although I did think it could be the Buncefield depot.

Some debris from the explosion has landed here; it appears to be lagging of
some kind. I do have some photos and video but better is already available
on the web.

It is sunny here as the smoke is slightly to the north of us and the sun is
low down over the southern horizon.
