Default Smoke Plume 2

Heard the 'boom' at 0604hrs but been in Fog since then, with skies
clearing does anyone have access to current high res satellite imagery
? I'm down in Sussex about 10 miles SW of Gatwick Airport and
currently (1420hrs) there is cloud ? to the North / North East moving
gradually Southwards - is this some of the plume from the fire this
morning or just thin St cloud ?

Almost certainly the edge of the advancing smoke plume

.... others have posted higher res imagery, but it is a measure of the
intensity of the plume that it can be picked out on the relatively lower
resolution Meteosat general purpose VIS imagery at:-
