I also heard him and thought what a calm, measured professional
account he gave. It was very understandable with no attempt to 'dumb
down'.

The thought occurred to me that the forecasters, when giving the
normal forecast, are asked to make it entertaining and his 'usual'
style is his response to that.

Is he taking the p*ss?
